It's THIS Weekend!!

Just a quick bit for those of you who don't yet know what KNIT OUT CROCHET is all about:

It's a one-day event for anyone who loves to knit or crochet, or is interested in stepping into the stitching-waters! It's a free event with yarn & hooks/needles on hand for use at KOC, and classes so you can learn new things, or refresh on what you already know!

KITS AVAILABLE

This year (for the beading class) there will be a limited number of kits available for purchase at cost. ($3 & $5) The kit includes the thread/wire, beads (pre-strung), a crochet hook, and instructions.

MINI-CLASSES

**Note: the times are being finalized with the teachers, and they will be listed later today (Monday). As will a list of supplies for the beading class/demo. You do not need to have these, but some stitchers have expressed a desire to bring their own supplies.**

For those of you interested in learning a bit about bead-crochet, we have a wonderful lady who’s going to teach you a great project! If you already bead-crochet, join us anyway… she will also be showing a next-step technique! Following right along will be a short beaded wire crochet class. It’s short, because it’s ever so easy! If you know the chain-stitch, you can do it!

Filet crochet will be offered, so for those of you who have never tried it before, now is the time! You can make the most lovely items using filet crochet!

Also, for you knitters who really don’t like seaming, would you like to know how to convert to knitting in the round? Then stop on by!

Don’t know how to knit? Or don’t know how to crochet? We will have several people on hand to show you how.

Stuck in the middle of a project & have ‘HELP!’ questions? There’s just got to be someone at Knit Out Crochet who can help ya out!

SHOW OFF YOUR WORK!

We’ll be having a “Fashion-Show & Tell” time, so bring a project or two that you’re proud of and would love to show off to a group of other yarn addicts!

SPEED STITCHING COMPETITION!

You’ll also want to practice your speed-stitching… there will be a competition! (I’ll get the time posted for that as well.) Fastest throwers, fastest pickers, and then pickers vs. throwers. For crocheters, fastest pencil-hold, fastest knife-hold. And of course, knife vs. pencil!

For those of you not afraid to tell your age, we’ll be looking for the oldest & youngest crocheter & knitter!

DOOR PRIZES!

We have a wonderful lady who has been gathering some great door prizes!
(Remember, you must be present to win/receive a door prize!)

We are looking forward to meeting new stitchers!

You are sure to have a wonderful time!
